  1. Vitaliy and I drove to Tahoe for the Christmas holiday. We stopped at the King's Buffet in Vacaville and he ate crab legs.

I think about Po Po frequently, and have been eating a lot of Chinese food, which she confessed to "hating" (at Gung Gung's funeral, said Uncle Eugene.)

Po Po loved the New England seafood, though. Which birthday was it that we drove into NYC with Auntie Georgia and Uncle Yin to meet Beverly and eat crab? It was my first crab experience, with the bibs and the nutcrackers. Po Po was in her element. "Live it up."

There's probably a book of stories about her and lobster.

Vitaliy and I brought a roast duck and a bottle of port to Mom and Dad's. She loved for me to bring her roast duck from San Francisco. Living in Tahoe, "the great white North" as dad calls it, was somewhat bereft of diverse cuisine.
